A visit here can be creepy, scary, and spooky. You can go on a guided walk where you walk past huge stalagmites and stalactites. But, before you can go off and venture, you have to watch a video at the visitors center. After you watch this video, you go on a tour on a trolleybus through the jungle into a 200ft-deep sinkhole to clear cave junction. But you have to be careful of the crowds. It can get pretty crowded.

History
The network of stalagmite-ornamented cave at Rio Cauy is an amazing site. It is the 3rd largest network in the world. The limestone shaped the hills. The park is 10 miles long and has multiple entrances. These caves provide shelters for indigenous people and home to many bats. The soil is a good source of fertilizer. No explorer's investigated the caves till 1958. When it rains the park is closed. There is not much contact, but spectacular underground formation. There is a trolleybus that goes through the jungle into a 200ft sink hole. There is a 45 minute guide walk were you walk past stalagmites and stalactites. The highest ceiling reaches 170ft. Tres pueblos sink hole is 650ft across and drops 400ft.
